Fall Nails - OPI & MAC
I chose a really fall-themed colour combination for Canadian Thanksgiving this past weekend! I used 2 coats of OPI’s Yes I Can-Can (pictured below) and one coat of MAC’s Bad Fairy. Bad Fairy is one of my all-time favourite fall polishes, in fact I have a post where I swatched just that colour (click here to see it).
The above photo is just to try and show you the gorgeous duo-tone shimmer that Bad Fairy has. You can see it better in the previous post I mentioned, but here it is anyways. It looks like a glittery red with a hint of purple, but when the light hits it, it turns a gold/orange. So beautiful!
PS: Sorry my nails are slightly chipped. I forgot to take photos right away!
Hope you all had a good weekend. Enjoy xo!
Red & Glitter
My nails today. I used China Glaze Salsa and Sally Hansen Glitz Gall as an accent nail (from the Gem Crush collection).
Stripes, Stripes, Stripes
Today I tried the stripe look for the first time. Included below is a step by step tutorial on how to create the look. It is very time consuming (though what nail art isn’t?) and I found it extremely difficult to cut perfect-sized pieces of tape and proportion them perfectly on the nail. If anyone has any tips on that, please let me know! Read on for step by step tutorial and more photos.
